Through their own careers, our leaders have made significant contributions to the broader wealth management industry. They are highly regarded and recognised by the industry. Linda Elkins, Executive General Manager Colonial First State, was named Superannuation Executive of the Year in 2013. She is a strong advocate for our customers and is passionate about financial literacy.

Our leadership team is united and collaborates well. They have a respect for the past and decisions that have come before them, whilst having a real passion for the future. Most importantly, they are committed to equipping our teams with the skills required to provide world-class service to our customers.

Meet our executive team

Linda Elkins - Executive General Manager Colonial First State
Before joining Colonial First State, Linda held a number of roles in the Superannuation industry including Managing Director of Superannuation at Russell Investments. Linda has also worked for the Australian Government in the Insurance and Superannuation Commission and for Australian Securities & Investments Commission as a special adviser. Linda is an advocate for investors with a passion for financial literacy; she was a member of the Australian Government Financial Literacy Advisory Board for over 10 years.

Linda is a Director of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia and a current member of the Financial Services Council’s Superannuation Board Committee. Linda won the inaugural Money Management Women in Super ‘Super Executive of the Year’ award in 2013, and was a recipient of the Investment & Financial Services Association Industry Excellence Award in 2009. Linda has worked in the superannuation industry for more than 15 years.


Peter Chun - General Manager Product and Investments
Peter Chun was appointed as the Executive General Manager (Acting) for Colonial First State at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in September 2016. Prior to this Peter held the role of General Manager Product and Investments.

Peter first joined Colonial First State (part of the Commonwealth Bank Group) in 2002. Prior to joining the Bank, Peter was Division Director with Macquarie Bank Limited and he has also held senior management positions with Credit Suisse Asset Management and BT Financial Group. Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA) and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). He has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Peter is a director of Commonwealth Custodial Services Pty Ltd and RealIndex Investments Pty Limited.


Brad Massey – General Manager Fund Services
As General Manager, Fund Services, Brad’s key responsibilities include asset servicing, unit pricing, fund accounting, financial reporting, tax, compliance and risk management for Colonial First State and the wider Wealth Management division.

Brad is also the Chair of the Colonial First State Control Forum, the Deputy Chair of the Colonial First State Risk Committee, a Colonial Services Board member since January 2014 and a Realindex Board member since June 2012. He was also a Colonial First State Board member between February 2008 to Dec 2012, and a Member of the Board Investment Committee since inception to December 2015.

During his time at Colonial First State, Brad participated in many strategic projects, product and system implementations such as NXG Reconciliation, TPM Trade Processing System and the BANCS System for Corporate Actions.

Brad holds a BA (Accounting) from the University of Western Sydney Nepean, a CPA from the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments (ASIA) 


Rebecca Ramaley – General Manager Strategy and Retirement
Rebecca joined Colonial First State in 2016. As General Manager Strategy and Retirement, Rebecca is responsible for developing Colonial First State’s strategic direction in conjunction with the management team, producing the business plan, advocacy and general Executive General Manager support. She is also responsible for delivering on the Retirement strategy, a key priority for both Colonial First State and Commonwealth Bank.

For the five years prior to joining Colonial First State, Rebecca operated in various strategic support roles across Wealth Management and Commonwealth Bank, including holding the position of Head of Strategic Development for Wealth Management.

Before joining Commonwealth Bank, Rebecca spent 15 years across a broad range of industries in various strategic and operational roles, including spending five years as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group and serving as an area hotel general manager for a multinational hospitality company.

Rebecca holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also serves as a committee member for the Commonwealth Bank Group Super Trustee Board.


Todd Stevenson - General Manager, Wealth Management Marketing
Todd joined Colonial First State (CFS) in 2010. He is responsible for driving the marketing strategies and customer experience for Wealth Management Advice, CommInsure and CFS.

Before his appointment to General Manager in 2016, Todd was the Head of Customer Marketing. In this role, Todd was responsible for the CFS customer experience, as well as the marketing and communication of all CFS products (including Commonwealth Essential Super) and services to all customer segments including advisers, employers and individuals.

Todd has over 16 years of global experience in the Wealth Management industry having worked in the UK, China and the USA across Distribution, Administration and Strategy roles. He has worked in both the institutional and retail markets. Prior to joining CFS, Todd led the Global Innovation Council and was the China entry business lead for Russell Investments.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Business and an Advanced Dip. of Financial Services (Superannuation). He is currently studying his MBA at Sydney University.

Tommy Cheung - General Manager IT
Tommy has been with Colonial First State since 1998 and is now the General Manager, Enterprise Information Technology. He is responsible for providing end to end technology solutions to the Colonial First State business.

Tommy previously held the position of Head of Application Services for Colonial First State. He was responsible for all application development and support within Colonial First State and led the successful solution delivery of the FirstChoice platform.

Prior to joining Colonial First State, Tommy worked for State Bank of NSW and Colonial State Bank, responsible for numerous banking industry-wide project implementations. He had also worked in the airline industry on aircraft engineering and passenger catering system development for 6 years.

Tommy holds a BSc of Computer Science (Hons) with Chinese University in Hong Kong.


Matthew Harrison - General Manager Distribution
Matthew first joined Colonial First State in August 2009 as Head of Investment Sales and was promoted to General Manager Distribution in June 2014.

He is responsible for distributing platform and investment solutions to the financial planning market.

Prior to joining Colonial First State, Matthew was the National Sales & Research Manager for Perennial Investment Partners. During this time, he was responsible for developing and implementing the retail sales and marketing strategy.

Matthew’s extensive distribution experience has been supported by numerous industry roles including holding Executive Management and Business Development positions at Mercantile Mutual and Commonwealth Bank. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW (Accounting, Business Law and Taxation).


Scott Henricks - General Manager Client Operations
Scott was appointed to the role of General Manager Client Operations for Colonial First State in July 2014.

He has been with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia Group (the Group) since December 2002, most recently as General Manager Branch Transformation, which involved leading the ‘Branch Of The Future’ program within the Retail Bank.

Prior to joining the Group, Scott was the Operations Director and a member of the Executive team at 7C UK (formerly AT&T). He also held managerial roles within AT&T based at their London office.

Scott has an MBA from the University of Sydney and a Double Honours BA degree in Political Science and Economic History from the University of New South Wales.
