Jackson Andrews is one of the most dedicated and passionate 11-year olds that Australian swimming has ever seen.
For the past 3 years, Jackson has trained 10 times a week in the hopes of one day representing Australia at an international competition. Added to that, Jackson helps out at home to make up for the early morning sessions and also gives his 4 siblings help with their stroke by offering training tips.
Young Jackson’s goal is to become the first ever 12-year old boy to compete and win a medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. And his family are positive he’ll get there.
Jackson is currently qualifying for the Australian Nationals and competing in competitions for his school.
